Filter Socks and Self Bailers

construction bmpFor any construction site, facility, warehouse or storage area, having a proper filtration process is essential to keeping your site in compliance with local and federal stormwater control regulations. Filter socks and self bailers are proactive construction BMPs to manage site runoff. While many sites choose to place construction BMPs directly inside the drain, self bailers and filter socks go one step further to filter runoff at the source. This method addresses and controls pollution before it even reaches the drain system.

Available models include the pipe filter sock, self bailers and more.

Filter Sock

pipe sockThe filter sock construction BMP is one of the easiest ways to filter out silt, sediment and other materials as they flow from vertical or head wall pipes located around your site.

Filter socks attach directly to a pipe to clear water runoff as it drains from your site. The filter sock collects silt and other particles from your construction runoff so your job site stays in compliance with local and federal stormwater regulations.
