What Material is Used for the Staked Silt Barrier?

(Florida)

Staked Silt Barrier Specifications

What material is used for your staked silt barrier? Would I be able to use this product in a ditch along the road?

staked silt barrier
Thank you for contacting us! The fabric that is used for our
staked silt barriers is eighteen (18) ounce reinforced impermeable PVC. It is designed to provide you with a silt barrier that will consistently contain, control, or redirect the amount of sediment on your location. Additionally, these barriers use A-grade membrane with a tensile strength of 350 pounds. This gives you enough strength to handle large amounts of sediment, while still providing safety through its yellow color.

The staked silt barrier is great for controlling sheet flow or stormwater runoff. It can be safely used in an road side ditch, as long as the amount of water located in the ditch is less than 30 inches. You could also used this barrier in canals, lakes, small settling ponds, or shallow marshes.
