Turbidity Curtain for Dock Construction
(Steinhatchee, FL)
Good Afternoon. I recently bought a restaurant on a river and would like to put in a dock for diners arriving in boats. A friend is going to do the construction and I am told that I need to get him a turbidity curtain. Can you tell me more about this and how I can get one?
Good Afternoon to you! I would be happy to tell you more about our Turbidity Curtain. To order, you can simply give us a call or send a quote request. A member of tech team will work with you to assure you are getting the perfect product for your application.
The type of curtain you need is highly dependent upon the type of water in which it's being deployed. If the current in the river is minimal than a Type 1 Silt Curtain should suffice. However, if the river has a strong current, you will want to look into a Type 2 Silt Curtain. The benefits of these barriers are that they meet and exceed most State US Dept. of Transportation Requirements, are designed for use in protected waterways, have quick section interconnects, are inexpensive BMPs and normally in stock for immediate delivery.
