Turbidity Barriers, All Types

(Providence, Rhode Island)

I am trying to get more information and the cost on the Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 turbidity barriers.

Hi there, I'd be happy to assist you with this. Our Type 1 Turbidity Barrier are used for silt control in calm water (swales, canals, small ponds lakes and inner harbors). These silt curtains are well suited for marine construction projects. A Type 2 Barrier is specifically designed for in-water control of turbidity during dredging activities, pile driving, shoreline stabilization and demolition and especially where water conditions are <1.5 knots and have 36” wave swells. Finally, a Type 3 Silt Barrier performs well in intercoastal water ways, bays, harbors and demanding conditions on the great lakes and rivers.

Standard sizes for all three types come in 100 or 50 foot long sections with a 5 foot width. We can custom design a system if these sizes do not meet your site specific needs. As we work to find the best solution, we consider wind, waves, water velocity, layout and scope of project to determine the best suited anchoring pattern, skirt depth and materials for best performance.

Receiving pricing estimates is as easy as giving us a call or sending a Quote Request.
