Type 2 Turbidity Curtain Sizes
Hi. I am looking at your Tough Guy Type 2 Turbidity Curtain and I was wondering what kind of flotation device these barriers contain. What are the standard sizes for this product?
Thank you for your inquiry! The Type 2 Floating Turbidity Curtain from Tough Guy is designed to provide you with a barrier that will be strong enough to contain your sediment in waters that do not exceed five feet per second. The manufacturing of this turbidity curtain contains a top section made to hold the flotation device. Sewn into this top section is a steel load cable that flows the length of the barrier and a flotation log that measures eight inches by eight inches by four inches (8" x 8" x 4").
The standard length of this curtain are sections that are 50 feet long with barriers either 3 feet, 5 feet, or 10 feet in depth. However, if you require a curtain that is longer or a different size, please don't hesitate to ask. We are more than willing to work with you to create a curtain that is perfect length and size for you project.
