Silt Curtain for Archaeological Dig, Israel

by Bob
(Israel)

I think we need you silt curtain for our job site. We are working on an old ship wreck site near the shore in a salt water environment and are experiencing a lot of sediment washing back into the work area.

What we would like to do is try and keep the murky water contained perhaps in cells so we can work in multiple areas and stop the wash of the sea pulling the sediment back into the dig.

The water depth where the work is occurring varies a bit but mostly 4-5 meters with very little wave action and some undertow.

We are digging up the silt by hand and moving it through sieves in the water which cause turbid murky water as it settle back down. We will be on this dig for a few years and need a turbidity curtain that will stand up to the sun and sea.

Will the silt curtain work for this and what style would you suggest?
