How Strong is Your Turbidity Curtain?

We have big waves in the area that keep damaging my turbidity curtain. What is the strength of your Type 3 curtain?

silt barrierThat is an excellent question! I'd be happy to give you information to assure your turbidity curtain is the correct type in order to prevent damage. The Type 3 Heavy Duty Silt Barrier is ideal for water with current, wave, and wind. It can withstand 1.5 knots, 2 foot waves, and 30 mph winds. If you have a Type 1 or Type 2 silt curtain, they will not be able to withstand the water conditions and will become damaged. If you have a Type 1 with an anchoring system, ripping and damage may also occur.

The best recommendation I can give is to call in and speak with a member of our tech team. With more details about your problem, our team can work with you to find a cost effective solution so you can get back on track.
