The top of this debris net contains a marine grade flotation device that is made for strength through its use of heavy-duty fabric. At the bottom sits a ballast chain and lower tension member, giving the net stability underwater. The standard trash barrier comes with a marine treated net, although various other net styles are also available.
To guarantee that this debris boom provides you with the best strength, it should be used in water conditions with mild currents, waves and wind. Typically maximum conditions in which this barrier can be used include:
- Current: 1 knot
- Waves: 2 feet
- Wind: 30 mph
The standard length for this debris net boom is with sections that are either 100 feet or 50 feet long. However, custom sizes are always available and can be built to meet your exact specifications.
