Are Anchors Needed for the Type 2 DOT Turbidity Curtain?

I have a type 2 DOT turbidity curtain. Would I need anchors to secure this in place? What type of anchor would I use?

Thank you for contacting us! We do recommend using marine anchors for the Type 2 DOT turbidity barrier. These anchors would allow you to secure the curtain to a specific point in the water, giving you a stronger barrier that has less chance of being moved due to tides or wind.

The type of anchor you would need to use depends entirely on your project and the water conditions you have. We offer several different types of systems allowing you to choose the one that best fits your site requirements. Some of our options include a twenty-four (24) pound Danforth galvanized steel system and sixty (60) foot polypropylene rope with thimbles.
