How Did We Start?

After years of watching customers having to settle for products that only partially met their needs, owners Mark & Kerry Wilkie, decided to start a company that works for consumer needs. They put together a team with the sales, marketing and field experience necessary and began their work at providing product solutions.

We started in the construction/industrial field and brought innovative products to help control silt, debris, and keep areas clean. As we grew, we expanded our reach to include product solutions for oil, gas, & mining applications, water storage, and secondary containment options for your sites. We now provide products ranging from spill pallets & liners to large tanks for catching or storing various liquids. Whether you need products for prevention, cleanup, control, or containment, we have the product solution you need.

What Does Providing Product Solutions Mean?

Providing innovative solutions is more than just a catch phrase for us. We recognize that every project, job, budget, requirements and/or surroundings are not the same. Neither are our product solutions. Silt Barrier Solutions

One of our primary focuses when we started this company was to help individuals control silt and debris during their construction, dredging, pile driving and demolition activities. For this reason, we work to provide you with silt barriers that are economical, while still properly controlling debris in your area.

Granite Environmental offers Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 silt curtains made in both a DOT or economy version. With this product selection, we wanted customers to be able to select the best silt barrier not only for their location, but also for their project application.

We also realize that many of you need to control other items such as trash, logs, ice, or aquatic plants. For these applications, we also offer both temporary and permanent debris booms.
